FLEET LOG SCREEN

This is the primary screen used to create the various fleet services used by the fleet operator and tracks on-going and past fleet service activity.  Fleet service activities are based on the fleet operations such as fleeting, towing, tug service, etc.  Rates are automatically loaded based on the fleet service and can be customer specific if necessary.

Fleet Services

When selecting a fleet service event, the origin and destination locations are entered (fleet location, dock, line boat, harbor boat, etc.) along with the start date and time.  As fleet service events end, the stop date and time are entered.  Past information regarding any fleeting service can be retrieved and reviewed by using the selection filters.

Rates

Rates are generated based on the base rates or customer specific rates created by the fleet operator and are automatically retrieved and calculated.  For those special situations that don’t fit the regular rates, all rates can be overwritten in a very simple manner.

Individual and Multiple Barges

Fleet Services are performed on an individual barge or a group of barges. The group entry allows for easy selection of multiple barges by simply checking the barges from a list.

Increased Efficiency and Improved Invoicing

To increase the efficiency of the fleet operations and insure all services are invoiced, certain fleet services will automatically generate the next fleet service.  For example, when a harbor boat is used to bring barges to the fleet and the tug service ends, the fleeting service for the barge is automatically created with location, rate, customer information, date and time.
