The
Fleet Diagram
provides an
easy way to see where barges are in a fleet. Fleet operators
can create as many fleets as needed and can move barges from fleet
to fleet as necessary. Using this graphical appearance, a
fleet operator can see every important aspect of the barges in their
fleet. Each barge is displayed in the correct proportion to
its size and type and barge number counts in the fleet include the
barges loaded and empty.
Barges display various characteristics to make it easy to understand
what is in the fleet. The display can be zoomed in or zoomed out
for ease of use and the fleet diagram can be printed. Fleets can be
displayed horizontally or vertically depending on the fleet
operator’s preference.
The
Fleet Invoice
function provides a simple way to generate invoices of fleet service
types and create interfaces to other accounting systems.
The invoice
process is designed to use all the features of the Fleet Management
System to eliminate any duplication of effort to produce and
invoice. The system uses proven techniques to verify that invoices
are created correctly and all fleet services are invoiced when they
are ready. The system tracks fleet services not invoiced and
provides a history of each invoice created. Invoices can be
previewed and printed for review and approval before being sent to
the customer.
Invoices can include custom formats and company logos if requested.
The
Fleet Log is used for the daily entry
and tracking of fleet services such as fleeting, tug service and
towing. As fleet services are entered, the rates are
automatically created and calculated. Rate information for
specific customers is also available.
The
Log Report is where various
reports are generated. Log Reports are valuable in managing
the daily fleet operation and providing historical information.
Fleet Activity Summary and Barges in Fleet are examples of available
reports and other reports are created based on the customer's need.
The
Log Exception is used to track all fleet services
ready to be invoiced.
It reports fleet service events that are
missing important invoice information (customer, rate, accounting
codes) and insures that all fleet services are invoiced.
Fleet System Maintenance is
a flexible and straightforward method to set up all aspects of the
Fleet Management System. Fleet services, rate information,
customer information, fleet size, barge characteristics and boat
information are all customized by the fleet operator for their exact
needs and can be updated as needed by the fleet operator.
